Say cheese - year 10 science

As part of their studies in the elective science class, 33 year 10 students learnt about the chemistry, biology and hopefully some of the art of cheese making. This culminated in a big day of making 48 camembert cheeses between them. We will find out in six weeks how successful they were when the cheeses mature. Each pair of students will enter a cheese in the RNA Dairy show where there is a special section for student made cheeses. This year’s group has a lot to live up to as the year 10s last year set the standard by winning the most successful school exhibitor award and a third prize in only our first year in the competition. We wish the students the best of luck in the competition.
