Business activity effects the daily lives of all Australians as they work, spend, save, invest, travel and play.  It influences jobs, incomes and opportunities for personal enterprise.  “Business” refers to enterprising endeavours undertaken to meet human needs and wants.  Business, economic and legal activities impact on and present a range of challenges to individuals and members of groups and organisations in their roles as active and informed citizens, consumers, workers and entrepreneurs.

Modern technological societies are characterised by the rapid expansion of knowledge and the ease of access to, and exchange of, information in a digital format.  ‘Computer’ subjects at this school develop student’s ability to be active participants and users of information and communication technology.
