The School Choir forms each year under the guidance of the classroom music teacher and complements the school's cultural performances.
The most recent successful project was Songs from The War Artist in 2019 which was the most ambitious project to ever be undertaken in the school's music department.
Year 11 and 12 music students collaborated with Topology, a world-class quintet and award-winning music educators based in Brisbane and Simon Cleary, award-winning author of the novel The War Artist (2019 UQP).
Students composed songs and instrumental interludes to match characters and scenes from the novel which culminated in a performance with Topology in November 2019.
A substantial choir supported lead singers to create an unforgettable experience for all involved.
