Parent and Community Code of Conduct
Dalby State High School welcomes parents and other members of our diverse community into our school. Working together with our school communities, school staff support the learning and wellbeing of every student, and are entitled to a safe work environment. Parents and other visitors to our schools support safety by ensuring their communications and conduct at the schools and school activities is respectful.

Assessment Policy
This policy applies to all students currently enrolled at Dalby State High. It details procedures to be followed in applying for an extension of time to complete an assessment task, late submission and non-submission of student responses to assessment tasks. It also details procedures relating to examination requirements and possible consequence that may occur in the event of student misconduct relating to assessment.

Homework Policy
This policy applies to all students enrolled at Dalby State High School. It details expectations for homework throughout Junior and Senior Secondary students, including OP/ATAR eligible vs vocationally orientated students.

Electronic Device Policy
This policy details the rules applicable to the use of all electronic devices including mobile phones, iPods, MP3 players, electronic video games, digital cameras and any other devices deemed to be applicable by the principal.

Dress Code and Personal Presentation Policy
This Dress Code applies to all school activities including extra-curricula, excursions and sport (unless prior permission is granted by the principal). Formal and sport uniforms are not to be combined under any circumstance.

The Home Learning Policy refers to the ways the school will maintain teaching and learning in the event of a prolonged school closure or student absence.

Our school takes sun safety seriously and the Sun Safety Policy outlines a range of strategies to protect students from the damaging effects of the sun.
