Dalby State High School Year 6 into Year 7 Transition Program
The beginning of high school is an exciting time for teenagers and their families. Each year Dalby State High School conducts a Year 7 Transition Program to help students transition to high school confidently. The Program is intended for the following students –
· Year 6 students attending Dalby State School and Dalby South State School
· Year 6 students attending private and state schools in the area
· Year 6 students enrolling as boarders into the school's residential Bunya Campus
The Transition Program traditionally includes a Year 7 Information Evening for parents and carers, transition lessons and one full day 'experience' day for students at the DSHS Nicholson Campus. Enrolment packages are usually available at the Information Evening. More information about the transition program is on the flyer under links.
Parents and carers are required to complete enrolment paperwork prior to their child commencing at the High School. Boarders apply to enrol through the Bunya Campus.
Dalby State High School looks forward to welcoming your family into our school community.
