Choosing to enrol your child at Dalby State High School is an exciting and important step. We look forward to partnering with you to support your child through their high school journey.

Dalby State High School operates under an Enrolment Management Plan (EMP) Enrolment Management Plan . Before enrolling, confirm that you reside within our catchment using the Education Queensland Catchment Map.

Enrolment applications at Dalby State High School fall into three categories:

  • In Catchment Enrolment
  • Out of Catchment Enrolment
  • Boarding Enrolment​

In Catchment Enrolments:

​Applications can be submitted in person to the administration office or emailed to enrolment@dalbyshs.eq.edu.au 

Enrolling at Dalby State High School requires families to book an enrolment interview with one of the Deputy Principals. Legal parent or guardian must be present for enrolment interview with the enrolling student. All paperwork and accompanying documentation is to be submitted before an enrolment interview can be scheduled.​​​​​​​​​​​​

Out of Catchment Enrolments:

​An Expression of Interest to Enrol Form is to be submitted to enrolment@dalbyshs.eq.edu.au or the administration office. Along with the students last two academic reports, letter stating reasons for wishing to attend Dalby State High School and presentation of birth certificate.

Please note, siblings of current students living outside the catchment area may be eligible to enrol at the school.

Boarding Enrolment:

  • Complete Application to Register​ and return to admin@dalbyshsbunya.eq.edu.au with child's last 2 report cards to commence the enrolment process.
  • Successful applications are determined by the enrolment committee and are subject to the terms of the Registration Agreement. The registration decision is not subject to appeal under the Education (General Provisions) Act 2006 (Qld).
  • Please note:  enrolment at Dalby State High School does not grant registration for boarding.
