The Dalby State High School Special Education Program has been supporting families and their children with disabilities in the Dalby district with a range of education requirements for many years.
Alongside Dalby State High School's SEP Program, the Personalised Learning faculty also assist students with an imputed disability and/or EAL/D status.
Mission Statement
To assist students in successfully achieving their goals, the staff at Dalby State High School support students through the provision of an inclusive, supportive and safe learning environment that focuses on individual and academic goals. This includes:
- Building positive and productive partnerships with teachers, parents, students and other stakeholders
- Providing support for students with disabilities in class
- Working collaboratively with classroom teachers to ensure adjustments for students with disabilities are made within unit plans
- Supporting students and families in the creation of ICPs, Support plans, SET plans, Health plans, QCE attainment and QCIA plans
